Reagents for Bio Defense R&D
CBI is pleased to announce inception of a new product line – bio-defense reagents. CBI has been providing cutting edge science and technology to government agencies and the military for the past several years, and as a consequence, has begun to develop reference reagents for select agent work that are likely to be useful to most investigators as they pursue their own research goals.
At this time, CBI offers:
- Anti-F1 protein (Y. pestis) antibody, produced in hens (IgY)
- Anti-V protein (Y. pestis) antibody, produced in hens (IgY)
- Anti-F1-V protein (Y. pestis) antibody, produced in hens (IgY)
- Recombinant His-F1 protein (Y.pestis) produced in E. coli
- Recombinant His-V protein (Y. pestis) produced in E. coli
- Recombinant Protective antigen (B. anthracis) produced in E. coli
- Ricin D, purified from Castor beans
- Abrin-a, purified from Jequirity beans
