Peptide Synthesis

CBI has the ability to synthesize milligram to hundred gram quantities of homogenous peptides incorporating any of the conventional amino acid residues, as well as modified amino acids and chromogenic, fluorogenic, or radiometric reporter groups. Both t-BOC and FMOC chemistries are available, and we can modify our coupling techniques to suit the individual investigator's needs.

Instrumentation includes fully automated peptide synthesizers, multiple peptide synthesizers, and a synthesizer for preparation of peptide libraries. The synthesized peptides are routinely purified by preparative reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography, and are characterized by amino acid analysis, RP-HPLC and/or mass spec protocols.
